He has so many little secrets and tidbits in his art that can easily be missed at a cursory glance. Bachalo has a way of filling a page or panel that makes me want to linger on it way longer than I normally ever would with any other artist. I loved his work in Wolverine & the X-Men (also with Jason Aaron) and the greatness continues here in Doctor Strange.

He weaves the story in a masterful way, engaging us as readers without making us feel like we are slogging through a giant info dump. Jason Aaron does a fantastic job filling readers in on all the information that they need. That said, I can say with full confidence that this is easily the best Doctor Strange material that has been printed.ever.Īnd the best part is, you don't need to know anything about the dude before diving into this series.
